Dia de Sant Jordi

Would you celebrate Valentine´s day more times a year? That is possible in Barcelona! Dia de Sant Jordi is the feast of the patron saint of Catalonia.

The tradition of Dia de Sant Jordi is that Spanish men buy a rose for their loved one and the women give their husbands a book. This is from the legend in which a man killed a dragon and came back with a rose for his loved one.

On the Ramblas there are a lot stalls located on Dia de Sant Jordi. You can buy books and roses there. There are also many music and dance events this day.

EAU 25th Anniversary Congress 2010

The EAU (European Association of Urology) offers a wide range of topics. Important issues in the urology specialty will be presented, including paediatrics, bladder cancer, female urology, renal cell carcinoma, reconstruction and functional urology, benign prostatic obstruction and stones, to name a few.

The 25th Annual EAU Congress in Barcelona expects to attract more than 11,000 delegates and approximately 3,000 company representatives.

They EAU 25th Anniversary Congress 2010 take place from the 16th of April untill the 20th of April!
